Chris Shakal
Chris Shakal is a Strategy Manager and has been a leader in the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, EPMO, in the Strategy department. She has over a decade of project management experience at Mayo Clinic, working as a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager. Prior to being in Strategy, she was a Senior HR Service Partner in Human Resources in Rochester, joining that group after working 15 years as an HR leader in the Mayo Clinic Health System-NWWI Region.
Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and an MBA with an emphasis in project management from Post University in Waterbury, CT. She has project management professional certification from PMI as well as HR professional certifications with SHRM and HRCI. She has an instructor level appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Health Care Administration.

Sarah R. Dhanorker
Sarah R. Dhanorker is a manager in the Strategy Department. She is an Assistant Professor of Healthcare Systems Engineering, Assistant Professor in Healthcare Administration at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and a Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM). Sarah has over 19 years of experience leading clinical healthcare initiatives in business operations, administrative transformation initiatives, clinical quality, patient safety improvement, electronic medical record implementation, Equity, Inclusion and Diversity (EID), and several enterprise strategic initiatives. In her current role, she provides leadership to project and program managers supporting various projects at all Mayo Clinic sites and leads the Project Management Office (PMO) Council at Mayo Clinic. Sarah also provides leadership support for department professional development and is responsible for innovation, coordination, and standardization within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). Sarah completed her bachelor’s and master’s Degrees in science and earned a master’s degree in health services administration from Florida International University. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and has received several awards, including Mayo Clinic Teamwork awards and the 2015 John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award.
