The La Crosse - Rochester Chapter is teaming up with the Rochester, NY Chapter to bring you a virtual event.

   

Tools…So Many Tools!

Are you confused by all the project management tools available?  This presentation explores the transformation of project management through innovative tools. It covers various tools such as ClickUp, Microsoft Planner, Smartsheet, and Jira, highlighting their key features and benefits. The presentation emphasizes the importance of selecting the right tools to enhance collaboration, increase visibility, and boost accountability within teams

 

We also discuss the role of AI in project management tools, including predictive analytics, natural language processing, and automation of routine tasks.  This is a great opportunity to see live demos of modern project management tools!.

Meet the speaker Jeffrey J. Manhardt, MA, PMP, DASSM

Jeff M.

Jeff Manhardt is from Buffalo, N.Y., and recently promoted from Director of Project Management to Senior Director, 3rd Party AI & Citizen Development for Compass Group - a global food service company based in North Carolina. Jeff starts every day with a curiosity for what is possible and has a history of 20+ years of success achieving project, program & Portfolio management objectives while utilizing situational leadership to manage international teams. He has led 3 PMOs, dozens of projects & programs and is an acquisition specialist. Jeff’s award-winning, results-oriented, people-driven leadership approach has culminated with projects, programs & portfolios delivering real business value.
Jeff received his Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MOL) from Medaille University, is a 2013 PMI Leadership Institute Master Class graduate, frequent conference speaker, current adjunct professor at Daemen College with previous assignments at the University of Buffalo, Canisius College, & Medaille University.
Jeff has served as the President of the PMI Buffalo chapter from 2017-2021 after serving in positions of VP of Programs, VP of Professional Development, VP of Technology & Business Services, and VP of Finance.
Jeff has also served on the boards of the Buffalo Chapter of the IIBA, BA/PMWorld Toronto Board of Advisors, Graycliff Conservancy, and is currently serving on the Habitat Buffalo Board.
During his free time, Jeff enjoys triathlons, reading, and watching football.
